Q: Do you have to have a parent or guardian accompany you if you’re 16 and under?
A: Yes, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; however, no child under the age of 12 is permitted on CPSA ranges.
Q: Can you rent guns, or do you have to bring your own?
A: Yes, guests can rent any firearm we have available through our rental program. All federal and state firearms laws apply.
Q: Are reservations required to use the range?
A: No, reservations are not required to use the range; however, during busy times, members will have priority over non-members. Members have priority for range availability. The higher the level of membership, the higher the priority.
Q: Do you rent guns that are left-hand friendly?
A: Yes, we have a vast number of firearms available to fit the needs of any guest.
Q: Do you need a membership to shoot here?
A: No, you can use the shooting range without being a member. Please note that during busy times, members will have priority over non-members. Members have priority for range availability. The higher the level of membership, the higher the priority.
Q: Will you be accepting FFL transfers for individual firearms?
A: Yes, we are happy to accept FFL transfers for firearms from other FFL dealers and face-to-face.
Q: Do you allow rifles on the range?
A: Yes. Rifles are allowed on the ranges at CPSA up to a .30-06 Springfield.
Q: Do you teach concealed carry classes?
A: Yes. Concealed carry classes are taught twice a month at CPSA.
Q: Do you offer 1-on-1 classes?
A: Yes. One-on-one instruction is available for $100 per hour plus range time.
Q: Can I use my own ammo?
A: Yes. You can use your own ammunition on the ranges at CPSA provided it is brass-cased. No steel-core, steel-cased, or aluminum-cased ammunition is allowed. Rental firearms must use ammunition purchased from CPSA.
Q: Can I shoot full-auto weapons?
A: No. Full-auto firearms, bump stocks, binary triggers, FRT triggers, and FRT safeties are not allowed on CPSA ranges at this time.
